And the Hemp licence was in the mail box Today So I'm ringing the seed drill today should get em in a week or so thats great.
I gave a speech totally off the cuff at toastmasters Friday morning called Breeding Evolution I did go a little over time but was happy with it.
You Know we have a great morning that sets us up for the week, Come along you will love it. Just ask and i can point you in the right Direction.
Getting ready for the open day has controlled us most of the week Getting handouts sorted, posters, produce, road signs, moving and sorting stock, parking places, walking tracks sign posted etc. Tidy this and that.
And the Day came and it was fine and even though we had lots of competition for the day it went off very well. The Gazebo Girls played well with people finding nice places for picnics. We had so many great comments even from a few that we were too cheap after seeing what we had to offer.
It was sure great to see old friends and contacts, Rarebreed people, Organic people, hand spinners and felters, Farmers market people, Farmers, towns people, ... And you know what we broke even and even made a little ...But the main thing it got it all out there and it was all made possible from
our great friends and volunteers who helped on the day ...Stuart, Ross, Justin and Aleena, Dee.
Some other comments from the day Wow I've never seen chooks like this, Your animals are so quiet ....I can see why you are busy
But the best from a young boy .....Your chickens should be in the circus .... Um Why .. coz they keep jumping on each other .....
The market on Currie Street was great a good flow of people.... great music. Good weather .. we are starting ta lift.
After went to the Real Tart Gallery with Fi to look at the wool craft it was fantastic. I have to say i loved your work Bernice.
Got a bit done on the Studio but would like time to do more as i only have 20 days before the sleepout is needed and Beate is in there at the moment.
