     Title: 5 June 2013
Well I'm sitting in my office doing my email in a full house. We have 3 very good East German HelpX volunteers (like Wwoofers) Anton, Johannes, Johanna, and 2 Wwoofers from Hong Kong, Wing and Shing  who Dee dropped in today. Justin is also here for the week. Ila and Jess are on board. Ruth and Beate are in town. Two things are happening. The work is getting done and the food is going down. The whole group is very willing and a pleasure to be with so the farm can stand the food.
Justin and myself have finished the base boards and access door on Ruth's building. The Germans have been chopping wood, pulling manuka and lots of general farm work and have levelled the ground around Ruth's building for the truck and dozer damage. Today we all killed and plucked ducks and roosters to keep the house freezer full. Wing is cooking the Ducks for us all for lunch tomorrow.
Early in the week Stratford had snow but we missed out (thank goodness) as we have more Dorset horn lambs and a litter of Canterbury blue pigs. No snow but it sure has Rained and is raining hard now.
I did manage to drive in early Monday morning and get my overdue (only by 2 months) blood test so my doctor can tell me my Cholesterol is too high and you all know what I think about that.
Have been woken early twice this week at 4.30am with the phone ringing. People from overseas just can't work out NZ time. I then turn the light on to answer the phone and all the roosters crow until daylight. O well at least it got me up and working, sorting pigs for the abattoir that I had to get in.
Went to a 70's theme toastmasters meeting it was great too and something different.
The Market Sunday was a very small one but it was the last market on Currie street for this season. We will be at the Plaza this week.
After the market I went with Fi to my speech mentor Lee to practise my latest speech (I have a bit to do on that).
