Title: 20 June 2013
The farm is full tonight we have 3 French wwoofers, with Ila's guitar Patricia lent to her, singing around the table (and good too). Eloise the French speaking Quebec butcher who none of us know what she is saying ...(me loki for husband in soth isan Farm 35 max HAAA good coo mota bike sow board you find me ya) No really I like her she is great.
We also have a Canadian guy 21 from a farm biking around NZ doing 100 km a day good worker. Ila and Jess and a NZ girl in the morning. We are powering thru the work and the food. I will be killing a pig or two ta feed em..... no worries.
We have said goodbye to the couple Wing and Shing from Hong Kong yesterday we will miss them and the great cooking.
Beata has gone back to Germany for a month I'm sure the pigs will miss her. Ruth is feeding them while she is away.
O yes I forgot to tell you last week before the great West Germans left we shifted the Piano out of the house and down to the local hall so Ila and others can practice in peace. Anyway its the heaviest piano you have ever seen rolled it with us all pushing out onto the verandah around and onto the ute deck. So with 3 big Germans, Ila, Jess and Justin on the back with it I drove off. With that the German girl Johanna opened the piano and played the most amazing music as I drove down the road. Everyone was dressed in farm gear mostly from the op shop and gumboots. ARR where is Ross with his new camera that takes videos when you need it.
Talking of past weeks do you remember me telling you about the book shop in Sanson with the abusive guy. Well I have just done another run down to meet Nic with Wing, Shing and Eloise so they could see more of NZ. Anyway we were parked waiting at the next door shop and as it was close to 5 the owner was packing his wares into the shop and I asked him how he got on with the book shop guy.
Quote... O I don't know he's different, can't say I have much time for him always upsetting someone parked at his building. I heard he even pushed someone off their bike who left the bike outside his shop ..I don't know But I tell you what some one super glued all his shop doors up two weeks ago and he could not get into his shop for hours ...............HA HA HA wooooo don't pay to mess with some people HAAAA ........
Anyway we all had a great sing song on the way home, I say all as some of my passengers only knew Jingle Bells But it was a great happy trip. Unfortunately we were parked at the toilets at Bulls and a school bus side swiped the ute while all but Eloise were in the toilets. I'm not sure what was louder the bus dragging the ute out of its park as it ripped along the length of it or Eloise yelling in broken sort of French/English te big bass smash uck and gone boom look cat broken Fu...... gone park tre go see ,,, O well just a bent bumper on the ute but the bus well she's a modern job and not looking so good with a can opened side, I can't work out why he did not stop but its his pigeon talked to the driver he was not happy but not a too bad fella. hate to be him tellin the boss.
So see ya sunday hope its better than last week as all stalls had a very low take and for us low take don't make my bank man happy at all.
Lots more but i will tell ya next week See ya
