Its the first week of spring I have to say i have never known a winter like it grass growing in Aug and September. The fodder willows are well out and we will be able to use them to feed stock in a week or so. We have had the Wiltshire horns, Damaras and Gotland pelts in for docking. I have to say both the ewes and lambs are looking very well, healthy and well fed coming off the fallow. Its just great to see good lambs drinking from ewes with good udders.

Ila has spray painted her ute and its now black and looking good. Ila has done most of the stock work with the help of Augie and our new Wwoofers who are here for a week, two French girls and a German girl all about 21 (so Augie is happy ). The girls are helping with cooking, chipping thistles, and general farm work. Jessie has gone for work up north.

Ruth's Studio is going well I have spent a lot of time on it this week laying the sewer drain, the septic tank is finished (we still have the soak drain to do. I have fitted the ply bracing and today have started fitting the gib board. Justin is out and doing the wiring that needed sorting. Augie has been helping with all and digging the main trench for the power.

Beate has been spending most of the week sorting her work and walking her Kunes. Ruth has been on the road lots to New Plymouth doing her thing after feeding the animals, filling hay racks and starting the garden with one Woofer girl.

I have been so busy and I'm well behind with my office work, bills, accounts, GST, stock records, planning open days and courses ARR ...  I sure need two things...... a PA (at least part time ) ...... and second the money to pay one. To make things worse, we were to have a visitor and son with view to working out here to get back on track and i put time into housework tidying up and getting the place looking right AND HE NEVER TURNED UP.............. Like we really have time for that Blaa ...

So on Sunday when Fi said shall we go to the movies and watch Red in Top Town i was well ready for some R&R .....So there at 5.54 watch the shorts with a big box of popcorn on my lap sitting comfy the lights go dim and Red the movie to start ......Tooottloodle toot daloodle ..Hit i have left my cell phone on ...reach in my pocket press the button ..Ummm this is what i need a rest ...Tooottoodoole Tood Daloodle ...Buzz buzz Toottadoodle  ..A.Am I  turned that off Reach in my pocket press the button .....Tootaladoodle Toot daladoole Buzz Buzz .....WONT turn OFF ..Get up spilling pop corn everywhere .....Sorry Yes sorry  Yes I know I'm trying can i get past please ..Yes i know no cell phones ......Tootaladadoodle Buzz Toot Buzz ...yes sorry........ at the door now at last with every face looking my way and the Film started .....What is wrong with this thing it wont stop  ....stressed to the max ....rummaging though my pockets for my glasses ..........Yep got them ....Right its stopped .........A big line of texts from Ila ...Pick up this pick up that on your way home.
NN leaving tomorrow ....,what work .............ToodalaaaaaaaaaadoOOooooodal Buuuuuuuuuzzzzzzzzzz  click battery dead ....Thank goodness only miss the first 10 minutes .... Good film ....Supper after ....

Umm hey where is my tooth ....... you see i have a plate mainly to fix the gap in the front (where a sheep smashed it out a while back) but has a few other teeth on it ..Got it done to meet Prince of Wales ..Cost about $850 ..And iv lost it..... Blooming heck ...Even insurance i have to pay the first $500 ....More stress ...hang on I took it out to eat pop corn and put it in my pocket .... Thats it i must have pulled the teeth out with my glasses in Top town.
You know there are some great people in the world someone found them and gave them to the manager ....Fi went in to pick them up ....Yes we have them BUT you know we have found all sorts of things over the years but never false teeth ...Umm I'm not sure what they were thinking we were up to ....
But I'm pleased to have em Back ...

So you all missed the Gazebo Girls at the market ..they were great. But i think like all stands on Fathers Day the take was well down.
