The weeks just seem to rush by as soon as i have one job done another pops its head. The amount of office work i do seems to grow and grow and im always behind ............its a good job i don't watch TV (well i can't any way coz i don't have one ) I don't read the newspaper either. I do get a bit of news from the radio but other than that, i count on what people tell me .......So i think its great to keep a clear mind ..

At Toastmasters i gave a humorous speech on the Farmers Market called "Advice." It was a humorous talk about the  Framers Market and how its a great place to spend Sunday Morning. It went down well and it was great to see some new faces ..if you want to be a new face drop me a line.

Justin came out after Toastmasters to finish up the fitting of lights and move a plug in the classroom. The power is on and all electrics are all go. While Hank and Ila  picked plums I sorted sheep and Justin fixed holes in the track, moved fire wood and worked like a robot tractor bobcat.
He has been training so is getting his fitness level back up and all you need to do is keep the good food going in. And its a good job he is fit as when we got to Curry Street to set up the farmers market stall the building where we store our canopies is being cut in half with a new walkway going in from Currie Street to Huitoki Plaza. On top of this the whole row of buildings are being earthquake proofed. With scaffold inside and out. Builders gear, rubble etc, made it a bigger job than normal. Thank goodness they are tidy contractors and we have a good team of Farmers Market stall holders that work together and help.

The hemp crop is struggling to get above the grass this season as it has really been a great growing season for grass and the Hemp has had to germinate and grow faster than it ..Next season we are sowing six weeks earlier.

Talking of hemp I'm Chair at Toastmasters this week and my theme Is  "hemp without hippy and THC", be good to see what comments i get.

So i need to get some sheep shorn today so im off ....
