Well Ila is tidying her room I can not believe that all of this stuff fits into her room as the house is now full. When i have a problem like this I either go for a walk or go down the work shop BUT its absolutely pouring with rain and pitch black Umm ...........I think i will have a nice hot bath that should put me in a good head space ....Right towel soap Epsom salts ......ARRR HIT. Ila WHY ARE ALL YOUR TURTLES AND GOLD FISH IN THE BATH ....arrrr...... Where is that bottle of red wine .... Ummmarr.. that's better spoze it will be tidy in a few days.
You know we needed the rain the hills were getting dry but as we Sabbatical fallow we have grass everywhere all in flower and the bees are working it well.
You know how we free range our pigs (and chickens for that matter ) I subscribe to a pig web site and they have just done a big study. The results say Quote "Pigs do better in the Forrest " WOW blooming heck I could have told them that and at half the price ......Um the modern way .....Lets do a study charge heaps and give kindergarten information in big words ...
Talking of the modern world you know we can't broadband out here and we have to work on dial up, but this week the phone line was down no phone or Internet for 9 hours. Every time i tried it i got ......Your call could not be connected at this time try later ....You know i always wanted to own an island. Well i have one right here ALL I NEED IS THE WATER .......
I have completed the Studio all the carpentry work is finished. I do need to complete the concrete tank but i have got two small tanks keeping it going. So i have to catch up on my farm maintenance and getting the cash flow going ............Blooming heck there is the biggest white tail spider going up the wall it must be 8 mm fat a big female full of young ....Right gotta find me camera.......left it here somewhere ..Right
Hell there are two daddy long legs stalking the big White tail ...Wow click wow click they are winning ..click flash ... be gruesome if it were something fluffy and tame but a white tail ..Click flash ....Now its in the web and DEAD ...How many people have seen that ????
We only have one Woofer on site at the moment, Niki who is Swedish and is fitting in well loves Animals and loves the Avonstour way of life
And on top of that she can make great baking .
O yes near forgot ........Ruth said ta me you know the Stratford club has got a Karaoki competition and the prize is $1000.
NOW we could do with that will ya sing John.
Umm Right I will give it a go what the heck (thinking of that grand and my bills)
So i get dressed in my best singing clothes rush out of the house late as usual and ran straight into the timber on the back of the ute.
Banged my nose and split my lip the nose stopped bleeding but the lip only just after much yarrow padded onto it ..
Anyway the club was crowded with the usual locals and heaps of singers judges and people who were interested .
Well i picked a couple of oldies to sing Durham Town and Proud Mary ....Got a few up to dance and bleeding lip and all
I got picked with two others for the Semi finals.
The worst part was I was first up, I gave the opening song to the complete competition It was like opening X factor
I'm singing again on the 7th March one day after an important day !!!!!! Um accountants & March Yes i better get onto my GST
