     Title: 8 July 2011
Another really busy week.  We hired a batten stapling gun with a petrol compressor and went for it, and nearly had to take another mortgage to pay for it.  We got 769 battens on before it broke down.  Just not used to hard work, made in China or something.  Wally finished straining wires.  Elton carted the batons out up hill and down dale like a fork lift.  Sina set them out and Justin (AK Bobcat) whacked them in where needed and i stapled them on.  Man those batons just went on until the gun stopped so we had to do the last 2000 the old way with a hammer and axe.  All that is left is to hang three gates and end rails, we will get on to that next week.
Ross has been out twice for the Photo Essay he has done 3 months now I really think this will go somewhere.
With the Woofers and help Ruth got me to get more house meat so we did pigs, a lamb and poultry and that won't last.
We ran another chicken course.  That went very well.  Jamie came and helped with bringing poultry to work with and his water drinkers.
We got a light trailer on Trade Me for Ruth's mule to help feed out.
It was Ruth's birthday this week and Elton cooked a Mexican meal and we had a good time. The amazing thing was with Beate, all you need is to add her to Mexican food and ginger wine and you get Patricia the dance instructor.
O well see ya Sunday.
