     Title: 26 October 2011
Another week ... every day drove in to get the finger dressed at the doctor, but the finger is pretty good and fixed.  The problem has been my arm.  A week after the Tetanus shot my arm swelled up and was a hot pink around the injection and was travelling down my arm.  Was very sore and i could hardly use it so i showed it to the doctor when i got the finger dressed.  Well John i have never seen anything like this before if it was going to do this it would have done so the day after.  No i don't like it hang on i will go and get the other doctor.  OOO arrr O i haven't seen anything like this either now that's interesting look its going here pink there lump under here No i don't know how this has happened.  By now I'm feeling like some actor in a TV medical program.  Hang on i can tell you how it happened. You stuck a needle full of tetanus vaccine in my arm.   Probably made in china with some added extras.  Yes i don't think you should ever have another one.  Now if you feel sick or have a temp just phone up as it could be something.  SOMETHING..... right o just hope something aint when im in the pig paddock or im pig tucker.
It has got better today and i got the Wiltshire Horns in and tipped them up to sort any dries out, not many but i tell you what is amazing, what you use your middle finger for on your left hand.  Got a bit of a bashing just kept hurting it.
Sara the Dutch Helpx worker finished today and i drove her into the bus when i went to the doctor.  We will miss the help, we have no-one here for a week until Robin stays next week.
We have only one clutch of goslings hatch, the thunder fixed the others.  But the 7 are doing well.
Ross came out and helped cut up all the house meat i had hanging in the chiller as i just could not do it with my arm and finger. Ross is a very fast  butcher and was a great help but do you think he would take anything for the help.  Its great to have good friends.
I planted a few rows of swedes and Ila has planted out her garden.  Its looking good real good. The seedlings from Nashnui are doing real well in fact we have had a few salads already.
Ila has had a bit of a down week.  She took Abbie her kelpie in to the vet for her scan to see all's well she is but empty no pups a phantom all swelled up uddered up
and empty.  Ila is not happy at all.
Ruth has ducks everywhere in various stages another lot hatched today.
So the end of the holidays Samuel came home for school.
The barberry is flowering and the bees are working, the grass is growing, the quince trees and pears are flowering.  SO see ya Sunday.
Sorry we won't be at the Hollard's garden market as we have not been able to process BUT our sausage and bacon will be there on the sizzle so go and have a look it will be a great visit.
