     Title: 10 December 2010

We waited and we waited.... over it went not a drop, not a spit, nothing. Are we glad we have the fallow and tree fodder. Every day we cut some and feed it out. Our stock all look well and in good order at the moment. We have spent the last 3 days sorting and blending mobs so we have more control of what feed is left as the Makuri stream has now just about stopped running. It normally forms a stock fence, but no longer as the sheep and cattle just step over it - this has never happened before.

Ruth has stopped hatching for the season and her goats have had to go to once a day milking.

We are still getting the odd Egyptian lamb born, this breed just love this dry.

John has spent been on the road again and has had a few meetings etc. Oh yes, at the start of the week Janine and Rod came out for a stay, helped sort out a few sheep and goats and took them home.
